About Debra

Debra pursued her love of painting and drawing at The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art as a student, and continued to paint and explore other art forms such as photography & theatre design. In more recent years, she has focussed on mosaic medium, and completed courses at Orsoni's Mosaic School in Venice, working with and learning about using smalti.

As well as a Masters in Mosaic from Italy, Debra also holds a PTTLS certificate to teach adults in further education. She has completed numerous commissions, sold work to private clients and conitnues to paint and make her own mosaic work.

Create Mosaic Workshop was formed after Debra started running classes in mosaic to offer people an affordable and supportive workshop atmosphere where students could create and develop ideas whilst working alongside others.
